2021 – present

Working across a variety of different areas within Sky and Comcast.
From integrating physical hardware, designing for Apple TV and for how users browse to find the next piece of content they will fall in love with.
Being challenged to design at scale for multitudes of brands while keeping variations to a minimum.
Breaking big projects into chunks by taking a risk based approach and identifying the key areas based on user value.
Conducting research via UserZoom prototyping with Figma, and collaborating with UI designers for high fidelity designs. As well as working with third party research agencies.
Being part of the Experience Principles Guild for how to measure and design how users feel about our experiences.
Additionally mentoring and managing juniors and interns through projects as well as working with University graduates through Unibees.
2016
Working as a UX/UI Designer within the Interactive TV team. Projects involve services and sales applications on Classic and Q set top boxes for over 9 million customers, as well as research and development into content applications.

I was also responsible for maintaining our emulators, that were used for our team as well as the call centres to go through the TV journeys via a computer. These were vital for our call centre teams in order to guide and give the best advice to solve users problems. The emulators required being up to date in line with any releases so that the call centres had the most up to date version.

Alongside design, also driving to improve team work flow by implementing better design processes and documentation, and establishing solid connections between development and other teams.
I also established connections with the Leeds research team and organised and ran lab testing for the first time within the Sky Interactive Team.
